Purpose and Scope: Manage relationship and sales execution with key industry partners and specialty gold retailers. Manage all aspects of the business between RL and key partner to successfully drive results toward plan achievement. In conjunction with Senior Director, Merchandising && Operations, oversee the development and staffing to expand upon our leadership position while delivering sales growth and market share gains at major championships and in stores.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Industry Partnerships

  • Manage sales and merchandise plan for annual championship merchandise tents.
  • Create product offering and allocation for corporate sales and books.
  • Partner with Senior Director to develop/ oversee sales and staffing plan and execution.
  • Develop industry leading product/visual merchandising plans for all venues at each major championship. lead product load including setup, product placement and supporting visual collateral.
  • Manage the executive and staff uniform programs.
  • Assist Merchandise Manager with thedevelopment and execution of all voluntee uniform programs.


    2. Specialty Golf Retail

  • Oversee relationship, account management and in-store execution for key specialty golf partners.
  • Support VP of Sales to develop seasonal growth initiatives including supporting financial plans and product strategies.
  • Responsible for seasonal line presentations and sell-in execution in conjunction with buying teams.
  • Analyze, monitor and report business weekly to achieve planned results.
  • In conjunction with Retail Development, create seasonal directives & monthly plan-o-grams.
  • Visit stores quarterly to understand performance, regional needs, competitive trends and future opportunities.
  • Conduct product knowledge and merchandising seminars to engage, empower and hold accountable store managers and associates.
  • Work closely with Merchandise Manager to insure seasonal assortment strategies and plans meet business objectives and marketplace needs.
  • Collaborate with VP Sales to evaluate capital investments required to strengthen the brand, elevate the environment and drive profitable sales growth.


    3. Tournaments & Events

  • Support Sales to execute industry leading tournament and event setups, providing elevated merchandise presentations and highest level of service to golf professionals and participates.
  • Utilize best in class setup collateral to maintain RL brand standards and elevate the environment with compelling visual merchandising presentations.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with both Account Executive and Account Services Analysts to ensure timely order entry and fulfillment.
  • Photograph and archive setups while completing post-mortem recaps to be distributed to Sales and Merchandising


    Required Skills

  • College degree preferred.
  • Golf retail merchandising/ tournament experience.
  • Motivated self-starter, with professional attitude.
  • Strong merchandising skills and ability to work with others.
  • Creative thinker and business driver.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer/photographic skills.
