You will be based in our new Los Angeles office and will be responsible for securing tentpole campaigns for top tier gaming and eSports talent on Teespring’s platform. You will also develop and cultivate relationships with Teespring’s existing business partners to generate opportunities core to the team and company growth strategy. You will report to the Head of Music & Entertainment and collaborate closely with the Head of Talent Partnerships.


You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, but you also maintain a clear understanding of the program’s overall success objectives, metrics, and key results. You will be responsible for and own the successful development of the program’s revenue growth. You will tightly align the goals of talent -- ease of use, maximizing revenue, and delivering the best experience and physical products to their fans -- and the goals of the talent division at Teespring. You will assist in ensuring that each program and campaign meets or exceeds the client’s needs, satisfies the end customer, and reflects properly on our brand. Below are key areas of focus for this role:


  • Manage a robust talent pipeline. You can clearly define the fingerprint for gaming and eSports talent who will find success on Teespring, quantify that fingerprint into a revenue projection, and use this intelligence to build out a dynamic talent pipeline. You are the subject matter expert within Teespring, so you must have proven taste in identifying promising emerging gaming and eSports talent from early stages of their careers, as well as knowledge of the existing top tier talent.
  • Foster our most important gaming and eSports talent partner relationships, including our exclusive partnership with Twitch. While broader partnership management will be the responsibility of the Head of Music & Entertainment, you will forge deep, lasting relationships with key point people within our partner companies and other talent stakeholders, including their manager and marketing/digital team.
  • Secure, oversee, and execute premier talent campaigns. You will maintain a fluent understanding and passion for the Teespring offering to pitch and successfully close potential business opportunities. You will also work closely with the Talent Relations team to ensure that every campaign you touch is world-class -- you will ensure that the launch process is easy, fast, and frictionless for the client. You will also offer post-campaign analysis and insights to your gaming and eSports clients to help improve future performance.
  • Build toward our long-term, scalable program strategy. Each gaming and eSports talent campaign that launches should serve as not just a short-term revenue-generating opportunity, but as a tentpole example that leads to wide adoption of the platform among artists and digital talent. You will leverage Teespring’s available channels, including platform partners, PR, community management, and develop new channels that serve as a medium for demonstrating the value of Teespring with real-life examples and hard data.


    Required Skills

  • 2-4 years working in talent/industry-facing sales, partnerships, or business development roles in the gaming industry
  • Deep understanding of technology’s impact on improving the experience for gaming and eSports talent and their fans
  • Proven ability to pitch and close new business in order to meet and exceed individual quotas and generate company revenue
  • Experience in settings that require critical thinking, problem solving, and analysis
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to clients, partners, and multi-level employees
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure, manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment with a granular attention to detail
  • Creative thinking with proven ability to design, communicate and bring compelling products and initiatives to market
  • Ability to focus and follow through on priorities to deliver quality results
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Startup experience a plus
