Responsible for building relationships, negotiating contracts and structuring strategic deals that deliver multimillion dollars of marketing value for the Virgin Brand
Responsible for developing promotional offers and creating holistic marketing campaigns and seamless execution across the brand to drive awareness of the programs and member engagement in the offers and promotions
Owns full marketing lifecycle of member engagement activities, including strategic planning, implementation, optimization, and success measurement
Partners with Customer Engagement/Base Marketing team and Brand teams to integrate offers and promotions across all channels and communications touchpoints
Owns loyalty marketing expense forecasting and budgeting
Works closely with various teams across the company, including Product, IT, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, and Finance to coordinate and execute against team objectives
Develops and delivers materials to leadership on program strategy, planning and performance
Stays abreast of industry trends, growth opportunities, as well as new and emerging players in the competitive set, to ensure loyalty programs remain best in class
Owns and understands defined customer and financial metrics key to driving revenue
Primary role is develop an experiential loyalty program that builds member loyalty with the base and drives word of mouth of an innovated new carrier for prospect customers
Responsible for business development with strategic partners to multimillion dollars of free in-kind media value
Works daily with internal cross-functional teams as well as external partners (agencies, consultants, vendors) to execute programs
Ability to execute on Marketing sponsorships and experiential marketing events replacing the need to hire external agencies
Required Skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10 years' experience in brand/media/event partnerships, business development, and event activation
Experience developing and launching a customer loyalty program
Solid understanding of mobility and digital space, subscriber communication + segmentation
Experience leading a team of marketing and event specialist
Experience selling major sponsorships for event properties
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Advanced Degree
Five years of experience establishing and directing strategic plans and objectives
Experience in online retail and e-commerce industry
Experienced negotiating multi-year and multi-million dollar contracts
Experience executing large scale events in North America
Experience with sponsorships from both the brand and, agency and event perspective
Extremely analytical and data driven individual
Ability to translate customer data into marketing communication campaigns (creative, content and offer)
Strategic thinker and problem solver
Ability to build relationship and work cross functionally to influence
