Position Objective: This individual will report to the VP, Entertainment Marketing. The position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Managing the marketing communications for the Entertainment Access program, which involves promoting Citi’s exclusive cardmember access via Citi (weekly email, website and social media) and partner channels;.
  • Developing/maintaining partnerships with external music companies (promoters, record labels, artist management);
  • Activating the assets of the sponsorships;
  • Managing the cardmember experience at live events;
  • Devising entertainment marketing strategy for music festivals, high profile tours, and marquee music events.


    The position is critical to maintaining Citi’s leadership position in credit card entertainment access.


    Performance Objectives: The position will involve collaboration with both external entertainment companies (including promoters, festivals, and venues) and internal parties (including Legal, MIM, Decision Management, and Social Media). It will require a broad understanding of entertainment promotions as well as careful attention to the mechanics of a marketing program’s life cycle.


    Keys to Success: The individual will need to be an effective communicator and collaborator; an adept marketer who is in tune with popular culture and consumer passions; proactive; have a positive mindset; and be results-oriented.


    Development Value: The person will gain a deep understanding of entertainment access promotions and how internal parties at Citi work together with external partners to drive the business forward.


    Required Skills

    Knowledge/Experience: 5-8 years of program management experience is required. The individual will need at least 2-3 years of background working at, or in partnership with, an entertainment company(ies). Marketing experience in credit cards is not essential or required.


    Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint is important to this role. Ability to work with Excel is also important.


    Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to this role. The individual must be at ease interfacing with partners.


    Educational Requirements: B.A. or B.S. required. MBA not required.
