Responsible for managing the day-to-day business activities for the company’s highest-level Staff programs members and the high-profile golf professionals who are under contract with the company. In addition, the position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the company’s key sponsorship activities with the PGA of America, and other high-profile TMaG events (PNC National, TP Classics & Sectionals) that are within the framework of the Sport’s marketing division. This individual will represent the department & company in many high profile situations/activities dealing with industry dignitaries, celebrities, and most company’s executives.


Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a high level of communication with all top staff (ie: PAB/NAS/NPC/PNC) players and implements key business strategies to maximize the working relationship between the company and these key PGA professionals to fulfill the company’s strategic plans.
  • Manages product fitting / seeding at key facilities throughout the country to assist the introduction of the company’s new product to the higher-profile Staff Programs members, as well as linking with the Sales Management team to gain maximum exposure for all three of the company’s main brands.
  • Supervises the on-site activities at all of the company’s Title Sponsored events with the PGA of America at the Section and National level.
  • Works closely with the Staff programs Coordinator to provide all required information to complete product / seeding days and sponsorship support needs for the company’s key sponsored events.
  • Responsible for recruiting top golf professionals as it relates to Pyramid of Influence (ie: PAB/NAS/NPC/PNC)
  • Work closely with Sales Professionals & Regional Sales Managers to better execute/establish brand loyalty & recognition.
  • Point of Contact for all Sport’s Marketing events, specifically focused on PNC National & Sectionals.
  • Work closely with key Club professionals to understand point of view and product needs.
  • Subsequently work to resolve and fulfill those needs with appropriate Product and R&D departments/personnel. This includes interfacing with TMaG licensees as appropriate.
  • Stay involved in design and prototype process by serving as liaison between design teams and field.
  • Communicate product timelines and status updates to Club professionals.
  • Observe and gather competitive activity and product trends to provide insights to the GSM, Product Creation and R&D teams.
  • Ensure regular and accurate product feedback by identifying, recruiting and forming relationships with both “star quality” and “up and coming” players, as well as their families, agents and teachers.
  • Represent TMaG and its product in the highest manner to players, their families, agents and teachers at all times.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as deemed necessary or required


    Required Skills

    Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Very high-level of golf skills, knowledge and terminology are a must.
  • Product knowledge and understanding of club design and swing mechanics, including fitting expertise are required at the highest level.
  • Strong interpersonal/ public relations skills, as well as a neat and professional appearance are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Valid driver’s license is required.


    Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years general golf industry experience, with an addition of at least 3 years that specifically include direct interaction with golf professionals at the highest level, i.e. PGA Tour.
  • Strong fitting and product optimization background is desired.


    Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires an extensive amount of travel.
  • Must be able to work extended hours, holidays and weekends as needed.
  • Required to live within the region near a relevant major city
  • Will spend considerable time outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.
