Prudential Advertising is a unique internal full-service branding & advertising agency within Prudential, established in 1996 and consisting of over 80 employees. The agency handles all advertising, including creative development, strategy, production, trafficking, and buying/planning of all media formats (broadcast, print, OOH, digital, and social) for Prudential's brand and individual business units.
Reporting to the VP of Media, the Corporate Sponsorship Manager is responsible for identifying best practices for hospitality engagement, including the coordination, negotiation and activation. This includes working collaboratively with other stakeholders to define sponsorship objectives and strategies and then sourcing and evaluating sponsorship opportunities such as sporting events and venues, music festivals, concerts, etc.
What you will do:
Lead a cross-functional team to develop sponsorship objectives, evaluate opportunities and ensure that appropriate information is incorporated into sponsorship proposals and programs
Contribute to the strategy development, budget allocation and positioning of specific sponsorship packages
Vet proposals and ideas with stakeholders for input and approvals and ensure recommendations are doable and effectively aligned with the overall strategy
Strategically advise internally and externally on best practices, solutions and partnership recommendations
Define and maintain alignment with strategic goals for each sponsorship initiative
Develop a sponsorship measurement framework and present results & trends in an insightful manner that leads to actionable next steps
Research, maintain and present knowledge of competitive marketplace landscape, particularly within the financial services category
BA/BS from an accredited college/university or equivalent related work experience
Minimum of 5 years professional experience managing national/global sponsorships, media partnerships, experiential and brand activation
Experience with brand marketing, media planning and sponsorship negotiations for Fortune 500 brands
Possess clear, concise, and engaging verbal, written, and presentation skills
Collaborate effectively with internal and external relationships to meet common goals
Independently steward multiple tasks concurrently in a deadline-driven environment
High level of respect for detail, accuracy and organization
Ability to travel 10% for oversight on program execution, if necessary
