The Field Marketing Manager plays a supporting role in managing marketing activation and collaborates with the marketing and sales teams on creation, implementation and execution of key programs. This position will accelerate efforts to build a culturally relevant brand through partnerships, sponsorship/event activation, advocacy, and content development.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities...

  • Translate national brand plan to locally relevant activation plans that drive consumer awareness, trial and brand love.
  • Recruit, manage and motivate a small team of Perfect Bar Brand Ambassadors.
  • Execute market level and demo program goals per directive from Sr. Field Marketing Manager and the Data Center. Schedule demos with help from Sr. BA’s.
  • Support retail activation with Field Sales Managers and 3rd Parties as needed.
  • Execute brand training for Brand Ambassadors, Brand Ambassador Leads, Sr. Brand Ambassador and 3rd Party Vendors.
  • Seed and develop relationships with market influencers, like-minded brands and organizations, ultimately leading to increased brand visibility and velocity.
  • Strategic coordination and execution of sampling initiatives using “points of influence”, reaching consumers where they live/work/play/shop, leveraging coupons and samples to drive trial.
  • Partner with Whole Foods Market for community, store and philanthropic events (Whole Kids, Whole Planet, etc.).
  • Assess and negotiate local media opportunities in partnership with Sr. Field Marketing Manager and Brand Manager.
  • Communicate success stories, key learning and monthly activity reporting to marketing and sales management.
  • Timely planning and reporting within GoSpotCheck, budget tracking and compliance.
  • Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Field Marketing department.


    Required Skills

  • Have a BA/BS degree. Marketing, Communication or Business degree preferred.
  • Has a passion for great brands!
  • 3-5 years of experience preferably within field marketing/sales, brand management or consumer packaged goods industries.
  • Ability to network and make genuine and personal connections.
  • Must have the ability to generate program plans from the ground up and execute from start to finish.
  • Proficiency in popular social media platforms, MS Office Suite. Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator skills are a plus.
  • Strong ability to manage time, scheduling and strategic planning.
  • Must be organized and thorough.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines while not letting creativity fall to the wayside.
  • Must have a car and a smart phone.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule (some nights/weekends)
