The Global Experiential Marketing & Partnerships team leads 40+ partnerships globally - managing ticket access, live events and digital platforms across the core passion points of sports, fashion, film, music and theater.


The Senior Analyst will support Team Sports partnerships by enhancing the Card Member experience, providing prospects with sampling opportunities, and activating our merchant network through our partnership assets. This person will help manage a robust Team Sports portfolio consisting of league, team and venue partnerships across professional basketball, football, hockey and more. This role will also require collaboration with multiple external agencies and internal business units to build and execute integrated marketing platforms.


The Senior Analyst’s job responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the creative development and implementation of activation programs across multiple channels to bring our Team Sports portfolio to life for consumers
  • Provide execution support for all live event and digital activations Partner with various colleagues across American Express (US and Global), agency partners and sponsorship properties to create, implement, and measure sponsorship activation programs
  • Manage end-to-end Amex Compliance and Legal review process across the portfolio
  • Support in the collection, analysis and reporting of key program metrics


    Required Skills

  • 3+ years experience in sponsorship, event, brand, and/or experiential marketing
  • Ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining an optimistic attitude; can be a self-starter
  • Maintain focus and exceptional attention to detail under pressure, within compressed timelines
  • Must have strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong measurement and analytical rigor
  • Possess natural interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work across various marketing disciplines or departments
  • Passion for sports is required, knowledge of industry desired
  • Must be able to balance “big picture” creative thinking with tactical execution
  • Agency or agency management experience a plus
