The Brand Manager is responsible for all of Goodyear’s efforts in college football and blimp marketing to drive communication and tactical development of these key priorities.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop marketing strategies and plans based on how consumers and shoppers make decisions and serving consumer needs to identify growth opportunities across all elements of the marketing mix. Through the lens of college football and blimp marketing, this includes advertising, consumer promotions and experiential events
Collaborate across internal functional teams and external agency partners to develop and execute college football and blimp marketing plans that ensure consistent brand experience throughout the consumer journey
Facilitate communication and lead executions of The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic
Maximize exposure of our ESPN partnership and integrations
Translate consumer insights into the development of new ideas and communications. Provide recommendations for brand strategy and objectives based upon deep consumer insights
Participate within annual business planning process, including identification of consumer and market opportunities, assessment, and development of strategies and tactics
Brief agencies and other core communication functions to develop consumer communication, based on insight and brand positioning
Bring together all marketing aspects from strategic development through execution of an integrated marketing/promotion plan and delivering with excellence
Build strong multi-agency partnerships
Bachelors (BS/BA) in Marketing or related field
MBA strongly encouraged
At least 4 years of relevant marketing/product management experience
Experience in CPG or traditional marketing.
Must have experience executing marketing plans, managing budgets, and working with agencies in all elements of the marketing mix
Exhibits a proactive, highly-involved personality to build relationships
Experience in sports marketing preferred
Ability to gather and interpret complex data, and able to switch between creativity to analytical skills related to social platforms and executions
This position requires the ability to work well with others, and support cross-functional work teams.
