Responsibilities:
Create strategies to build and establish brand awareness to drive traffic to DAVIDsTEA stores through events, brand partnerships and community involvement.
Establish relationships with brand partners to execute successful events.
Analyze and track the performance of activations in market.
Manage Market Events Calendar and budget; ensuring deadlines are met within set budget.
Manage planning, production and execution of events (including staffing of event).
Collaborate directly with the events and creative teams to obtain materials and items needed for upcoming events/campaigns.
Consistently demonstrate product knowledge and effective selling skills for the DAVIDsTEA experience.
Act as the DAVIDsTEA PR representative providing public relations functions as required (I.e. Interviews, site visits).
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to develop appropriate action plans
Superior Presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying the spirit and passion of DAVIDsTEA.
Self-starter who is able to manage and coordinate projects and initiatives from start to finish
Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organization
Relevant work experience in event marketing
Passion and enthusiasm for events and people
Must possess a “can do” attitude
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, able to work outside of regular business hours and weekends
Must be able to travel
80% of time will be spent in the field or in store
