Responsibilities:

  • Create strategies to build and establish brand awareness to drive traffic to DAVIDsTEA stores through events, brand partnerships and community involvement.
  • Establish relationships with brand partners to execute successful events.
  • Analyze and track the performance of activations in market.
  • Manage Market Events Calendar and budget; ensuring deadlines are met within set budget.
  • Manage planning, production and execution of events (including staffing of event).
  • Collaborate directly with the events and creative teams to obtain materials and items needed for upcoming events/campaigns.
  • Consistently demonstrate product knowledge and effective selling skills for the DAVIDsTEA experience.
  • Act as the DAVIDsTEA PR representative providing public relations functions as required (I.e. Interviews, site visits).


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study
  • Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to develop appropriate action plans
  • Superior Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying the spirit and passion of DAVIDsTEA.
  • Self-starter who is able to manage and coordinate projects and initiatives from start to finish
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organization
  • Relevant work experience in event marketing
  • Passion and enthusiasm for events and people
  • Must possess a “can do” attitude
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, able to work outside of regular business hours and weekends
  • Must be able to travel
  • 80% of time will be spent in the field or in store
