Responsible for developing and implementing organizational policies for event sponsorship opportunities.Develops objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing events, such as trade shows and/or customer related events. Manages and executes projects and marketing plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads. Assists executives in defining organizational goals and strategic plans.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for identifying and securing national venue and event sponsorship opportunities, client and prospect entertainment, and courtship opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Responsible for driving and creating a national strategy among various sales channels within the organization, prioritizing their needs regarding strategic sports and entertainment sponsorships, courtship mechanisms, tradeshows and key visibility opportunities.
Develops and manages the national incentive award program and other corporate sponsored sales incentives.
Works directly with various business units as appropriate on agreed upon initiatives.
Responsible for developing and managing budget, advising on and developing strategic deals; serves as a primary point of contact.
Develops a strategy and plan to identify and secure key sponsorships and courtship opportunities at the national and regional levels.
Secures and leverages national sponsorship investments, events and tradeshows.
Develops and assists with sponsorship activation plans to measure key success metrics.
Facilitates contract negotiations, and enhance current event opportunities.
Develops and manages the budget.
Coordinates with various working groups to share and expand upon marketing opportunities, athlete endorsements, advertising, and other areas as identified.
Serves as key role in the development and execution of Client Advisory Boards and assists in the implementation of program.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline and/or equivalent experience
