The Sponsorship Marketing Strategist uses sponsorship programs to help meet marketing goals, including building the Quicken Loans brand and driving sales and revenue. This team member relies on experience building and executing effective sponsorship programs to help lead the strategy for sponsorship selection, activation and measurement. The Sponsorship Marketing Strategist also manages the execution of marketing campaigns using sponsorship assets and the activation of sponsorship programs.

Responsibilities

  • Use research to evaluate and identify sponsorship programs to support our marketing goals
  • Effectively negotiate sponsor partnerships
  • Create strategies to most effectively use sponsorship elements
  • Manage agency and partner relationships
  • Collaborate with Brand Management and Creative teams to build sponsorship-based campaigns, creating effective marketing efforts for target audiences
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to set objectives and measureable goals for sponsorships
  • Work with communication channels to develop media plans and creative messaging that integrates the sponsorship assets into broader campaigns
  • Communicate sponsorship goals and results to leaders and impacted teams
  • Provide insight and analysis on sponsorship performance
  • Manage sponsorship budget


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising, or seven years of equivalent experience
  • Experience developing sponsorship strategies and managing activation programs
  • Strong project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with other teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solver who can lead teams toward a goal by setting direction and vision
  • Experience with the creative development process and media planning
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
