Supports, oversees and coordinates Spectrum Reach events, sponsorships and Public Relations in close coordination with the enterprise brand team and divisional leadership. In addition serves as a key member of Brand and Field Marketing leadership team for the Spectrum Reach enterprise. Will be the conduit for market requests, outside partner speaker requests as well as planning and execution of customer facing events that align with the strategic plans for company and divisional goals, services, or business lines. Ensures that communication of current public facing initiatives, promotions, and events are accurately, timely, and effectively communicated to all appropriate personnel. Aligns efforts and messaging with trade media, client solicitation, lead generation, social media and direct mail initiatives for the company as feasible. Oversees implementation of corporate public relations and industry outreach programs. Plans, hosts and promotes client events and gatherings at the enterprise level and provides support as necessary for divisional events. Efficiently tracks, monitors and communicates effectiveness of events and sponsorships for the company.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as primary point of contact for all event, sponsorship and public relations requests and planning.
  • Drive demand and build the Spectrum Reach brand with an event and promotions strategy designed to raise awareness of our company messaging at key industry functions.
  • Spearhead the launch of critical sales initiatives, such as First Look/zone annuals and Summertime is Cabletime, across the division in conjunction with Marketing leadership, Sales and all relevant functional areas.
  • Interact with Charter corporate PR team to insure compliance with communication expectations and guidelines.
  • Create, evaluate and distribute industry speaking engagements for Spectrum Reach leadership team. Offer guidance and materials for current messaging.
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to amplify and enhance the customer experience through unique event experiences and interactions.
  • Develop and lead the execution of promotions and event strategies designed to meet or exceed customer growth, retention and revenue projections.. Monitor and evaluate results.
  • Develop and align national customer/industry events, PR and internal/external communications.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of Spectrum Reach Event Marketing, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business development and monitoring market trends specific to the division.
  • Direct, manage and ensure brand and brand integrity at all customer events and with all promotional efforts.
  • Direct and manage customer-facing communications related to invites, RSVPs, Confirmations and other notices tied to event planning in coordination with the communication and design teams.
  • Strategically work with Enterprise Brand, Communications, and Product teams to ensure the customer/brand experience with Spectrum Reach is consistent at every touch point.
  • Effectively work cross functionally with Product team to determine available network partnership and resources to support Event strategies.
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing events and promotions with appropriate metrics and make necessary adjustments to demonstrate continuous improvement
  • Innovative and creative planning to build industry-leading events that offer customer impact and value and drive the Spectrum Reach value message.
  • Oversee various field Marketing team members in their local efforts with local event planning Perform other duties as assigned


    Required Skills

  • 7 - 10 years of related experience in event planning and event marketing
  • Expertise in advertising sales with specific work experience supporting promotions and large client events
  • Proven track record of providing impeccable hospitality to executives and high profile clients.
  • Experience tracking event and promotion ROI as well as developing business plans/marketing initiatives to enhance relationships with the community or clients.
  • Previous Public Relations experience in an Ad Sales environment is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, or a related field is required.
