We're looking for an ambitious self-starter with interest in sports, marketing and software sales to add to our account sales/management team.


The Sales Associate position will prospect for new accounts, demo and close sales and help onboard high value clients to SponsorPitch. In order to be successful in this position, you should have experience in sales (preferably software), be obsessed with making our customers happy and have knowledge/interest in how the sponsorship industry works, the latest sponsorship deals and the motivations that drive buyers and sellers to pursue new sponsorship deals.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for new customers using CRM and social media tools
  • Make outbound outreach to prospects
  • Become an expert on the strengths and capabilities of the SponsorPitch platform
  • Track leads through the sales funnel using our CRM system
  • Demo platform capabilities to potential customers
  • Build key client relationships that ensure a great user experience
  • Develop/enhance procedures for efficiently tracking and responding to customer service requests from key clients
  • Identify new feature requests through customer dialogue and report back to senior management
  • Other duties as assigned


    Required Skills

  • 1-2 year experience in sales
  • 1 years of experience in sponsorship, sports or general marketing
  • BA/BS or equivalent (pref. marketing-related)
  • Experience with customer service
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and video conferencing applications
  • Start-up experience or interest (pref.)


    This position is located in SponsorPitch's New York City NoMad office, though a virtual position is a possibility for the right candidate.
