The Coordinator - Sponsorship Sales, UCI Live will be a member of the Univision Enterprises team, which leverages Univision’s company-wide assets and capabilities to build complementary new businesses. The group includes Experiential Marketing, Live Events, Consumer Products / Licensing, and Direct to Consumer (Financial Services, etc.) as well as cross-company new business and strategic partnerships
The Coordinator - Sponsorship Sales, UCI Live position will help facilitate and support the department’s sponsorship sales revenue generation responsibilities. Responsibilities will include providing assistance in presentation & proposal development, management of sales tracking reports and identifying & researching prospect brands/categories for portfolio events. Existing experience in sports or entertainment live events with understanding of the sponsorship sales process is important to the success of the candidate.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and creative sales professional with exceptional analytical, communication and presentation development skills. A self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and “go-getter” who understands and loves sponsorship sales is essential.
Knowledge and experience in multicultural / Hispanic market with Spanish language fluency is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for helping the team to achieve sponsorship sales revenue in accordance with quarterly and annual sales plan
Development of sales/marketing materials, plans and proposals associated with launch and continuity of new and existing Univision Enterprises initiatives
Proactively prospect for new brands and provide background/contact information for potential leads
Manage status and sales tracking reports for regular distribution to UCI Live team and senior management
Support the development of new sponsorship and marketing initiatives
Work and liaise with internal & external partners on project development and execution as needed
Keep abreast of marketplace conditions and trends that will contribute to the sales pipeline
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to attend UCI Live events and collaborate with colleagues in other locations
REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, marketing or customer service within a professional service or corporate environment (or High School degree / GED and a minimum of 7 years of active experience in stated areas)
Experience coordinating or supporting sports or entertainment live events
Experience with and understanding of the sponsorship sales process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
