Perry Ellis International is looking for a creative marketing associate to work in our Corporate Headquarter office located in Miami, Florida. The Marketing coordinator will help in the administration of strategies for all golf brands, marketing and public relations activities. In addition responsibilities will include the oversight (with direction from management), for the servicing of the TOUR Player apparel needs and activation's for PEI’s sports sponsorship's. The position will also have other marketing duties including but not limited to managing social media pages and organizing and distribution of internal marketing newsletters.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


TOUR Players:

  • Oversight of servicing the portfolio of TOUR professionals outfitted by PEI
  • Work with internal team to order player product in advance of needs
  • Maintain a detailed log of TOUR logos, requests, shipments and tracking information for all TOUR player embroidery orders
  • Maintain communications with all appropriate parties in terms of status of order and order shipments
  • Look to create efficiencies to facilitate the servicing of TOUR players


    Marketing/Social Media:

  • Develop, maintain and execute the social media calendars for the brands under direct PEI control
  • Oversee the creative executions to fulfill the needs for the social media sites under PEI control
  • Assist in the development of the brand voice for all social media sites under PEI control
  • Work with Internet team to coordinate website refreshes each season, maintain content and upload new editorial/events etc.
  • Making presentation copies, books, binding, shipping for timely delivery


    Administrative:

  • To support the Vice President of Sports Marketing and the sports marketing team in organizing schedules, controlling/coordinating meetings and prioritizing and managing marketing efforts across the organization
  • Gathering, organizing, and writing marketing newsletters for the golf division
  • Organization and tracking of all samples ordered and received by the Sports Marketing Department as well as sending out for editorial opportunities
  • Assist with invoices, getting signed, making copies and sending to accounting


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising
  • 1- 3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Be a sports enthusiast; particularly golf
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Organizational skills; both time and project based
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at one time
