As the Senior Manager of Global Experiential Ticketing Partnerships and Channel Strategy, you are a business leader who will be responsible for managing our ticketing partnership portfolio and leading our strategy to around how we communicate with and engage our Card Members in entertainment experiences around the world.


A primary focus will be day-to-day oversight and management of our ticketing partnerships including Ticketmaster and AXS, working across business units as well as within Global Advertising & Brand Management to drive business value and exception customer experiences. This Senior Manager will also be responsible for implementing best practices across ticketing partners and staying current on the ever evolving ticketing landscape.


In addition, this Senior Manager will be responsible for our strategy to drive continued awareness and engagement in our programs, leading our channel strategy and ownership of our mobile app. This position will require a ‘customer-first’ mindset to ensure we quickly adapt to engage our customers when and how they want, with a focus on efficiency and 100% compliance.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead overall relationship with global ticketing partnerhips, including partner management and communications, strategic planning, asset tracking and business optimization for Ticketmaster and AXS
  • Ensure regular measurement and reporting to drive partner accountability and senior leadership updates
  • Develop and execute ongoing strategy to optimize how we communicated to Card Members to drive awareness and engagement
  • Oversee mobile app, including capabilities roadmap, content strategy, integration of other entertainment/sports verticals, overall project management and day-to-day execution
  • Manage end-to-end Amex Compliance and Legal review process across the ticketing portfolio and channel initiatives
  • Monitor market and competitive intelligence within the ticketing industry
  • Lead large cross-functional team including agencies and business unit stakeholders


    Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in partnership marketing or ticketing, including digital marketing
  • Experience managing teams and/or external agencies with proven track record in partner management
  • Knowledge of the entertainment and ticketing industry preferred
  • High degree of interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in small and large groups
  • Ability to work under pressure, within compressed timelines and balance multiple priorities while still maintaining an optimistic “team player”attitude
  • Strong communications, multitasking, organization and analytical skills
  • Out of the box thinking with an instinct for problem-solving
  • Ability to balance “big picture” thinking with tactical execution ·
  • Strong customer and service orientation with attention to detail and experience in project management
  • MBA preferred
