Primary responsibilities include oversight and administration of all Experiential Billing/Payment/Budget and vehicle fleet activities. Supports Experiential projects to achieve key Marketing initiatives (increase brand awareness, increase consideration, improve perception and drive dealer traffic).


Major Responsibilities:

  • Experiential Marketing Administration – Provide support in the development and implementation of Experiential programs. Includes oversight of department calendar, program communication (executive communication and recaps, DCS, Hyundai Facebook, OwnerWire, liaison to region and dealers), securing legal and product planning approvals; and assists marketing partners in execution of specific initiatives (event staffing, set up/tear down, vehicle display, sweepstakes, lead management, interaction with consumers).
  • Attend events/activations on an as needed basis. Supervise agency, activation and set up, vehicle displays and other elements of activation at event(s).
  • Genesis Open – Provide support and assists in program activation including ordering fleet of vehicles for event, supervising all activations, and all elements of program both pre, during, and post-event.
  • Budget Administration – complete all necessary paperwork to create purchase requests, collaborate with Finance, Legal and Purchasing departments to secure all necessary approvals; track and maintain budget spreadsheet with real-time department spending data; and process program invoices and manage vendor inquiries.
  • Vehicle Fleet Management – manage department vehicle inventory, secure vehicles from regions or other departments as necessary, oversee transport and specialization of vehicles, liaise with Parts & Service and Vehicle Services, work with vendors to develop vehicle display concepts and estimates. This would include NFL, PGA TOUR and all experiential contractual requirements.
  • Inventory Management – research, secure estimates, order, manage and track usage of department inventory, including, but not limited to, uniforms, premiums and exhibit properties.
  • Manage sports initiatives like the Super Bowl hospitality initiative, including development of all elements of the travel related program. Manage the support vendor in the delivery of the program.
  • Act as key contact for Genesis brand related programs such as the Ambassador program.
  • Act as liaison between Axcess Worldwide and HMA departments.
  • Provides backup for HMA Product Planning, Marketing, PR and IWA on SEMA events.
  • Department Systems – create systems to improve department’s operational efficiencies, streamline processes and procedures, organize program files and inventory.
  • Teamwork/Relationships – support team oriented approach within department and with business partners to achieve targeted objectives. Act as liaison with vendor partners providing support to Experiential initiatives.
  • Maintain an awareness of changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions.


    Required Skills

    Authority:

  • This position requires ability to problem solve and think independently. It also requires the development of relationships to achieve desired objectives/outcomes.


    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.


    Related Experience:

  • Four to six years’ experience with at least three years related experience (marketing or automotive industry).
  • Agency experience a plus.

    Physical Requirements:
