Beats by Dre is seeking a Manager, NA Sports Marketing that will help shape Beats' culture and inspire the most influential athletes on the planet to be genuinely passionate fans of the Beats brand. The Manager will create huge visibility and cultural credibility for Beats products within sports, as well as drive business performance and maximize exposure through global/local sports strategy and platforms.


The Work...

  • Be the Beats thought-leader for the sports world focusing on North America. Stay hard-wired to the people, sport, the emerging talent and the trends. Trends that happen in-country, North America and globally. Live it, breathe it. Make connections.
  • Think big, build relationships, experiences, and create and deliver social media platform opportunities. Never been done before concepts.
  • Bring massive energy to other marketing plans by integrating Beats athletes.
  • Author stand-alone athlete leverage plans that help drive awareness and build the business.
  • Find the perfect intersection between the Beats business plan and the athlete’s business plan to create win-win partnerships. Build deep relationships with athletes and the people around them. Bring deep insightful and thoughtful ideas from the athlete and connect them back to brand campaigns.
  • Keep Beats deeply connected to the sports scene and seek out new and progressive opportunities. Find the unexpected. Break into new sports. Find the space we occupy between sports + music.
  • Identify new angles and story-telling lanes. Put product at the center of every relationship and every idea. Measure the number of eyeballs that get to see it and understand the impact on the business. Learn what works and do more of it. Learn what doesn’t and move on.
  • Hustle, manage resources and hold the team accountable for the on-time, on-budget delivery of the plan. Drive ROI.
  • Self starter, own your work, your strategy, able to work with small team and over communicate to larger team, cross functionally and manage up.
  • Manage the day to day operations of the product seeding for all North America athletes. Own the process and over deliver of athletes product delivery expectations. The Team...

    Key Qualifications

  • Extensive sports marketing experience.
  • Proven track record and reputation amongst influencers within the sports community.
  • Immersed in the sports industry, super-connector and thought leader.
  • Industry-leader and/or successful challenger-brand experience.
  • Ability to ideate, create and execute content execution of Beats athlete roster
  • Relationship manager and product delivery operations/logistics expert
