The Dell Social Business Team is looking for an individual to help build and manage end-to-end social media plans in support of Dell Technologies, Dell, and Dell EMC's major sponsorships. The Social Sponsorships Manager will work closely with Social Business Team subject matter experts, other internal teams, and agencies to craft best-fit social strategies for our highly visible sponsorships across sports and entertainment. As the sole owner of these comprehensive social plans, the Social Sponsorships Manager will develop challenging team goals that carefully balance social, marketing, and brand priorities. In this role, the Social Sponsorships Manager will also work to establish and roll out a repeatable model for social activation around other global sponsorships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end social plans for Dell Technologies, Dell, and Dell EMC's major sponsorships (including, but not limited to PGA events, Olympics, MLB, NFL)
  • Understand and adapt plans to the unique social/digital activation rights of each sponsorship and relevant federal communication laws that govern appropriate use
  • Develop and propose social-ready and sponsor-approved content to our corporate-level social media brand accounts, external community sites, and to our socially active employees through our social advocacy technology
  • Introduce a high degree of creativity and innovation into plans, and continually adapt strategies and tactics with leading edge ideas
  • Work closely with the Dell Brand Team, Sponsorship Partners, Agencies, and social channel reps to craft and align on organic and paid social campaigns
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of industry and competitive trends and thinking around social for sponsorships and incorporate into emerging events/plans
  • Identify and agree upon social sponsorship program social KPIs across owned, earned, and paid social media
  • Deliver standard and ad hoc social sponsorship performance reports to stakeholders and leadership - with a focus on actionable findings and recommendations


    Required Skills


    Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated passion for social media
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Sports Management or applicable field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an applicable industry and/or academic field
  • Thorough understanding of traditional and emerging social media platforms and tools
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication through multi-channel communications, interactions with stakeholders
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and execute a cross-functional plan; diplomatic when making decisions and communicating to stakeholders
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate work across multiple ongoing projects
  • Data-driven approach to decisions and strategy
  • Ability to adapt complex plans/program elements into easily consumable visuals


    Preferred:

  • Master’s/MBA degree a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred
