Develop and lead positive business and brand-building relationships with outside partners and agencies to negotiate, activate and leverage local/regional and national sponsorships/alliances in the U.S. Bank portfolio.


Primary responsibility will be to manage U.S. Bank sponsorship relationships across various markets to support U.S. Bank's mission and business objectives. Responsibilities include day to day management of high profile sponsorship relationships including naming right partner and major sports partnerships in MSP. Responsibilities will include asset implementation, budget oversight, performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and annual partnership reviews.


The position will also develop and oversee on-site activations for fan engagement at sponsor-related events and venues with partner agencies and internal resources.


This position requires strong project management skills to collaborate, partner and/or interact with internal/external resources (product, media relations, legal, compliance, foundation, sponsor properties, agencies) in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies designed to meet specific U.S. Bank goals. Position will interact with senior management and professionals at all levels throughout the organization. This person must be results-oriented and self-motivated. This person will have a direct report .


Required Skills


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Sponsorships
  • Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Sports Marketing and/or sponsorship management experience
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced project management knowledge and experience
  • Event management experience
  • Agency experience (client or agency side)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
