Lead a team responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns that include event activations, advertising, owned channels and brand actions. Campaigns support a range of objectives including promotion of American’s brand narrative, shifting brand perception, building awareness of product/service/network benefits, influencing consumer choice and ultimately generating revenue. Oversees relationships with internal and external agencies to insure campaigns are both locally relevant and globally consistent. Leverages and adapts existing assets where possible to minimize cost and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of production of and assets for events, paid media, owned channels and other brand actions
Work very closely and take direction from strategic planning teams to understand consumer insights and inform development of assets
Stay abreast of competitive developments, trends and best practices in creative and leverage these in our campaigns
Oversee delivery/fulfillment of assets and materials within budget, on brand and on time
Oversee estimate and billing process for design and production of assets
Motivate a team of project managers and subject matter experts to effectively bring to life marketing campaigns and brand actions
5-7 years of experience managing teams
Previous creative advertising agency experience / background is required
Strong creative skills, out-of-the-box thinking with keen attention to detail
Excellent understanding of emerging and non-traditional marketing tactics
Ability to work in a matrix style organization and collaborate heavily with peers, teammates and leadership
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to quickly develop strong relationships
Effectively presents to and interacts with all levels of management
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related subject required
Must pass a background reference check and criminal fingerprint check
