Casper is looking for an experiential marketing professional that brings strategic, innovative, and brand-aligned experiences to life. This position is based in New York City and reports to the Director of Experiential Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up where Casper’s digital conversations leave off; Give consumers physical access to the brand to create user generated content and brand promotion
Source and asses high-impact sponsorship opportunities at marquee events across North America; execute against properties like SXSW, Coachella and more
Participate in strategy and creative brainstorming sessions that integrate experiential concepts with advertising & marketing tactics; Drive online and offline traffic to all experiences
Possess the ability to understand the realities of production when combined with a strong creative idea – ensuring the proper balance of “pushing the envelope” and feasibility
Manage relationships with vendors across all production categories (fabrication, production, permitting and staffing)
Research, propose, and assist in selection of event sites, staging, audiovisual support, content development, and entertainment
Negotiate and manage vendor deliverables, contracts and relationships to ensure flawless execution and ensure optimum return on investment
Convey an understanding of cost estimating and production pricing within budget constraints
Organize and manage event calendars and project management tools
Leverage strong communication skills to maintain detailed schedules and provide updates and recaps across the Casper organization
Provide onsite, hands-on assistance for programs, tours, and events as needed; Serve as the day to day contact for all activation teams
5+ years of event and/or experiential marketing experience (agency or client side)
Motivated by problem solving and troubleshooting
Interest in existing and emerging trends in fashion, music, media/entertainment, arts, and pop culture
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests
Organized (really, really organized)
Must be collaborative and possess a knack for leading cross-functional teams
