BR>Purpose:
Under the direction of the Head of Genesis Marketing Communications, the Experiential Marketing Lead will be responsible for the development, management and implementation of all Experiential Marketing activities and programs including; Sponsorships, Promotions, Media Partnerships, Experience Centers, National and Regional Auto shows, Influencer Program, National Dealer meetings, NADA, Owner Events and other Marketing Events Programs.
Oversee Experiential Marketing and Shows & Exhibits Budget and respective cost centers.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead the National and Regional Auto Show Program (booth display and show management relations).
Lead the National Sports Marketing Strategy development, all sponsorship relationships and associated activations (PGA/Golf tournaments + NFL) inclusive of contract development, project management, marketing communications plan, content development, program implementation and metrics reporting.
Lead all Experiential Marketing Programs including but not limited to; Launch / Owner / Conquest / Regional events and promotions.
Lead all Strategic Alliance Partnerships including but not limited to; Media Partnerships and Activations, Influencer programs, National Dealer Meetings, NADA reception.
Lead the development and implementation of Brand Experience opportunities with key strategic alignments and owned experience centers.
Lead the strategic direction, management, & coordination across multiple agencies and partners, clearly defining roles and responsibilities and ensuring that all programs are on strategy and deliver maximum ROI.
Responsible for the planning, allocation and tracking of the overall department budget cost centers, ensuring maximum ROI and overall expenditure remains in line with agreed budgets.
Collaborate and effectively communicate across all Genesis and HMA departments, executives, the wider HMA Marketing department, Regions and Vendors.
Maintain awareness of current and changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions.
Authority:
Position requires ability to problem solve, make decisions and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a team concept.
Manage work flow and the ability to work across departments, along with the wider HMA marketing teams.
Develop and implement strategies that all programs are executed against.
Resolve issues and communicate to management and business partners.
Manage activities and performance of agency and other service providers.
Education:
Must have a high school diploma
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Master’s degree a plus
Related Experience:
Six to eight plus years of experience of which at least eight years of directly related experience in event marketing field, either with client or agency.
At least three years of experience within automotive industry desired.
Luxury event marketing experience required.
Supervisory experience required.
Skill / Knowledge:
Good understanding of general automotive (warranty, customer care, and fixed operations), automotive after-sales and/or luxury consumer experience
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office package required
Physical Requirements:
Normal Office Duties.
Travel to off-site programs and events required.
Occasional night and weekend work.
