The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Global Marketing Partnerships & Promotions in Burbank, CA.

The Specialist, Promotions role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of all Star Wars international theatrical promotional programs. You will be the centralized support for the brand, managing over 150 partnerships that are active in over 70 countries worldwide. As the key brand advocate for Start Wars in the international space, your focus will be to consistently support the brand position and our promotional strategies across our markets.


  • Gather, collate and communicate creative feedback on the hundreds of submissions that come in on a weekly basis from our partners in local markets
  • Support creative development of TVC's, premiums, POS, publicity, social media, digital, OOH and print ads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our local markets, working closely with our key partners to understand and help drive the promotional strategies
  • Support leadership in brainstorming/pitching multi-million dollars campaigns for the release of Star Wars titles
  • Act as a liaison with external agencies and internal departments, including creative services, legal, digital, asset management, events and the Disney Studio, to successfully execute promotional programs that adhere to the Star Wars brand guidelines and benefit the franchise as a whole
  • Organize and track production deadlines for both domestic and international to ensure partners successfully meet their timelines
  • Oversee and facilitate the process on all international promotions for the brand (creative review, guidance, fielding questions, etc.) and manage execution for specific campaigns as needed
  • Processing and fulfilling domestic and international asset requests
  • Archive promotional materials/Post Mortems
  • Provide tool kits, international logos, brand guidelines, pitch kits, etc. to Intl partners and in some instances support the creation of new assets
  • Provide training on tools (e.g. 5th Kind) and the brand for our Intl partners as needed

    Required Skills

    Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ Years’ Experience in Marketing - Film, Entertainment, Theme Park, Sales
  • Preferable Disney Cross Line of business experience
  • Strong Collaborator, Team Player, Multi- Task, and Drives Strong Results
  • Innovation and Creative Marketer
  • Strong Communication Skills and ability to interface with all levels of management

    Required Education

  • Four year College Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or Related Field
