The Sponsorship team at Mastercard manages a portfolio of properties that are used to capitalize on consumer passion to influence behavior and drive profitability for Mastercard and its issuing bank and merchant partners. By associating with and leveraging leading properties, personalities and events, Mastercard offers cardholders access to ‘priceless’ experiences which in turn, builds brand preference, drives acquisition and increases card usage.
Purpose of Role:
Working with cross functional teams as well as outside marketing agencies you will be responsible for managing marketing platforms and programs related to Mastercard's Culinary, Music, Arts & Culture Investments. Responsibilities include: event execution, asset management, budget management, managing relationships with front and middle-line managers of select partners, contract documentation and securing legal, marketing and brand approvals.

Role
Develop and manage sponsorship marketing plans to support Mastercard business and marketing initiatives addressing consumers, issuers, merchants, customer relationship building and innovation
Oversee the management of all on-site activation and event delivery for all Culinary, Music, Arts & Culture properties
Manage and build strong relationships with front and middle-line managers of select partners, property owners, and retailers
Manage budget, accruals and payment processing for all Culinary, Music, Arts & Culture Investments
Support innovation integration and product showcase activation across managed properties
Support affinity card portfolio marketing efforts in partnership with bank account teams
Work with marketing agencies responsible for Culinary, Music, Arts & Culture activations to ensure all business objectives are achieved
Comply with internal policies, procedures and audit requirements related to sponsorship and asset management
Effectively work with internal and external business partners to support Mastercard objectives
All About You
Experience in national and/or local sponsorships and promotions, preferably in the entertainment, media, packaged goods, financial service industries (agency experience a plus)
Prior experience in marketing, partnership management and executing sponsorship contracts
Experience in sponsorship management, event planning, event management and consumer & customer hospitality activation
Experience in working across cross-functional teams inclusive of brand, digital, media, communications and product
Experience with digital and social marketing
Ability/presence to interact with C-Suite executives
Ability to manage budgets and payment processing
Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects concurrently
Detailed oriented
Bachelor’s degree and some post graduate marketing experience
