About the role:
The events specialist is responsible for crafting brand experiences of all scales that consistently articulate the sweetgreen mission, foster intimate connections with our customers and employees and differentiate sweetgreen. The work will require collaborating closely across multiple teams to articulate critical business needs, prioritize opportunities, design experiences, develop implementation plans, execute brilliantly against plans, and track and measure results.

You’re an enthusiastic self-starter with strong event production skills and a deep rolodex of contacts. You’re a go-getter who’s able to effectively collaborate across teams, internal and external. You’re a creative thinker who’s in the know, on the pulse of what makes our communities tick and a champion for what makes sweetgreen, uniquely sweetgreen. You’re incredibly organized and focused and plan ahead, but flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Minimum requirements:
3+ years of experiential marketing / events experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Sharp eye for detail and proven project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
Experience working with external agencies and vendors
Ability to take risks and think BIG
Ability to travel (CA/DMV/NYC/BOS/PHILLY/CHI)
Passion for harnessing the power of experiences and connection to driving business objectives
Lover of food, music and all things #sweetlife
Knowledge of marketing channels, including social, content and community
Core Job Duties + Responsibilities:
Develop and execute best-in-class large scale, national brand experiences, including but not limited to new market launches, sweetlife block parties and campaign-driven events. Also produce turnkey smaller-scale experiences that can be utilized across a variety of locations and demographics.
Recommend events, experiences and artists that align with our mission and connect with our community at large. Be a champion for the sweetgreen culture; develop and produce experiences that showcase our connection to music, impact and thought leadership.
Manage experiential budget, ensuring an effective allocation of spend and providing forecasting and ROI analysis on all program spending. Oversee external production partners, event vendors and talent.
