At Charles Schwab, we establish sponsorships in relevant categories and partner with like-minded companies to form an emotional connection with our target to create “symbols of re-evaluation” in how they perceive the Schwab brand relative to our competition. Our corporate sponsorships & strategic partnerships help differentiate the brand, increase preference and deliver on key business metrics. We develop activation programs that bring the brand to life and stimulate reappraisal. Create experiential “buzz worthy” promotions that engage consumers and cause them to take action, and deliver unique-to-Schwab “money can’t buy” experiences for business development purposes. Our sponsorships also provide thematic backgrounds in advertising and marketing communications to increase relevancy, target appeal and help break through the clutter. And provide the ability to reach unique audiences in targeting consumers by affinity, demographics, geography and seasonality.


Charles Schwab's sponsorship portfolio includes the PGA TOUR, U.S. Ski Team, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners and San Francisco Giants.


What you’ll do:

  • Provide detailed project management support for critical programs
  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver results on various projects
  • Partner with key stakeholders across internal business units to deliver on objectives
  • Develop unique client experiences and lead agency resources in the execution of high-profile hospitality events
  • Manage a creative agency in the development of various marketing communications
  • Provide critical tracking reports on key business metrics
  • Help prepare senior level presentations on strategy and program performance
  • Provide ongoing relationship management and cultivate positive partnerships with external properties
  • Assist in the allocation and distribution of valuable client hospitality assets
  • Source and screen partnership opportunities and assist with deal structure and contract negotiations as needed


    Required Skills


    What you have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in sports marketing either corporate or agency
  • Proven leader in managing experiential and event marketing programs
  • Must be able to travel, work remotely, be a self-starter and a highly motivated individual
  • Extremely strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and relationships building skills
  • PC Literate and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
