Overview:
Sleep Number is seeking a highly effective Specialist to manage sponsorship, marketing and collateral for the US Events team; this role supports event growth by operating as the liaison between the sales and marketing teams, as well as collaborating with both internal and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Manage national core selling event marketing and sponsorship proposals, promotional negotiations and opportunities to drive incremental sales growth.
Develop weekly reporting for core event team on opportunities and event support.
Maintain media codes and all operational support for customer relationship management (CRM) integration.
Coordinate inventory levels for selling tools, collateral and event support, including reordering and distribution and Archway management.
Partner with Brand Experience Manager and creative team to develop new print ads, radio spots, e-blast, digital banner ads, editorial content, PA announcements and promotional signage onsite.
Coordinate production of selling tools and new display assets.
Partner with media and PR resources to amplify events with social integration and community outreach.
Develop local marketing tool kit templates and support program.
Primary support for local marketing events/community outreach.
Demonstrate financial acumen through budget management and expense reporting.
Qualifications:
3-5 years communications, marketing, agency, retail or related background required
Prior experience managing the development, creation, and production of marketing collateral materials required
Consumer products and/or retail experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business – marketing or relevant field, preferred
Project Management and Organizational Skills
Strong computer skills required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat
Demonstrated Interpersonal, Collaboration and Communication Skills
Working knowledge of creative development and print production process
Retail Store Environment and Product Knowledge
