Perry Ellis International is looking for a committed marketing manager to work in the Corporate Headquarter office located in Miami, Fl. This person in conjunction with the VP of Marketing leads the execution and production of marketing programs in support of golf sales force, directing the development of creative strategies for point-of-sale materials, visual merchandising and promotions. Be a steward of assigned brand, Callaway, to ensure all forms of communications, products and public relations fall in line with the brand direction.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees development and implementation of marketing communication efforts and materials
  • Oversee the budget tracking for same brands
  • Liaison with key outside companies to PEI Golf
  • Build relationships with key media influencers Coordinates at a strategic and tactical level with the other functions of the organization: creative, sales, design, merchandising, planning and legal
  • Manage relationships with licensed partners to guide the business
  • Build relationships with key media influencers
  • Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Manage internal resources and expectations including but not limited to direct reports
  • Communicate to internal stakeholders through clear briefings regarding marketing materials and updates on relevant business results


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising preferred
  • Experience in golf, golf equipment and/or professional tours is required
  • 5 years of experience in related role required
  • Be a sports enthusiast with an understanding of the sports industry
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
