The Jaguar Land Rover Experience Marketing team is an integral part of the JLR Marketing group, with key responsibility for creating and executing the strategy for Jaguar Brand Experiences, Sponsorships, Partnerships, Retail Experience, Global Events and Exhibitions.
The objective of this position is to broaden Jaguar’s and Land Rover’s product and brand awareness, drive retailer traffic through qualified leads and source and identify highly qualified prospects with purchase intent. The Events Specialist is responsible for actively searching, strategically developing and analyzing potential event and sponsorship opportunities based on the overall marketing and event strategy. This role will work closely with all levels of the business and key interdepartmental partners in the planning, creation and execution of all events, including Concours events, launch events, partnership activations, retailer launch meetings, and more.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for three key marketing areas; Events, Sponsorships and Partnerships.
Events - Responsible for strategy, planning, implementation and budget reconciliation for all Jaguar and /or Land Rover consumer events.
Budget responsibility, including creation, maintenance and reconciliation of program budgets.
Responsible for identifying and negotiating prospect focused partnerships with like-minded brands. Determine strategy to align our brands with appropriate partners. Manage and evolve the relationships with the objective of extending our reach to target audience.
Responsible for activating and managing various agency partners and third party vendors.
Responsible for maintaining highest level of brand execution and consistency with overall brand message and strategic direction.
Liaison with the JLR regional and local field marketing team. Assist field marketing team with identifying, reviewing and executing regional event opportunities.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or similar study
5 years of Marketing and Marketing Events experience
Experience with Corporate event planning a must
Strategy development, planning and activation skills
Work with budgets and budget management
Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management
Automotive and/or luxury product background
Retailer contract experience
Strong management and communication skills
Corporate culture and managing inter departmental relations
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skill required
