The Creator Services team is responsible for developing and maintaining the connective tissue between Spotify and the creator community. We are looking for an excellent candidate with experience building out global music marketing campaigns to join our Artist Marketing team.This role sits within the Artist Marketing team, a new team within the Creator Services vertical of Content. This team will collaborate heavily with Spotify’s Core Marketing teams which includes brand managers, communications designers, experiential marketing experts, film producers, copywriters, and social marketing managers.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development, and execution for Artist Marketing campaigns in collaboration with the global creative and brand strategy team, local consumer marketing teams, and the broader organization
  • Use internal resources for in-house development while also handling agency partners when necessary
  • Project manage artist brand/artist campaigns owning all facets and coordinating across the many interdependent contributors, both internally and externally
  • Partner with various stakeholders across Spotify, including consumer marketing, product marketing, artist and label relations, PR, growth, tech, and product teams to ensure their consensus and dedication to priority Artist Marketing campaigns
  • Use platform tools within digital, social, mobile, emerging and owned-platform consumer programs with paid, owned and earned media
  • Lead day to day execution of campaigns including the project management of all internal processes and deadlines and the creation of high level presentation decks


    Required Skills

  • You have 3-5 years of experience building global marketing campaigns and are comfortable working cross-functionally within the larger Spotify organization as well as across geographies
  • You have experience working within an advertising or marketing agency and share an equal passion for both marketing and music
  • You are able to coordinate execution components of Global Music Marketing campaigns including the ownership of all project management functions
  • You have a passion for the Music Community and can be a representative of the Artist Marketing team to the rest of the Spotify organization
  • You have the ability to drive vision, align strategy, and manage execution for all Global Artist Marketing campaigns
  • You’re great at developing and leveraging organizational relationships (particularly within the Core Marketing function) to ensure alignment, support, efficiency and scale
  • You are an enthusiastic project management guru and can take initiative to ensure that all deadlines are met and that the team can achieve optimal efficiency
  • Willingness to travel and participate in night and weekend events when needed
