Enterprise Holdings’ Corporate Marketing and Communications (MarCom) department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sponsorship Marketing Specialist. This person will play a key role in the daily coordination, communication, management and delivery of sponsor related assets. This position involves working with our Operating Groups, various teams internally and external business partners and agencies. This position requires exceptional, proven client service skills, along with organizational, and project management skills to support the business and marketing objectives via sponsorship activities at local, regional and national levels.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.
Responsibilities
Manage activation assets for each partnership (NCAA, NHL, PGA of America, Live Nation, Disney and others as added) including but not limited to select aspects of media, in-venue and special events
Act as key liaison between brand and each partner for creative approvals
Independently manage and prioritize sponsorship requests from our operating groups and from corporate senior management on a variety of marketing needs; consult to determine and recommend the best approach to meet objectives; manage solution execution from beginning to end, including efforts by agency and/or in-house team ensuring requests/projects are completed on time and within budget; ensure all requests/projects are brand and legally compliant and in line with brand sponsorship objectives
Analyze and report program and partner performance; provide recommendations and results for optimization. Provide technical knowledge regarding the implementation and tracking of programs
Manage ticket and hospitality assets for all partnerships
Work with operating groups and venues on any local point-of-sale signage promotions/opportunities
Work with Director/Manager to assist with co-branded marketing opportunities
Represent company at partner meetings and/or events when needed
Serve as a subject matter expert in sponsorship (sports, music, entertainment) and support EH and internal business/marketing teams in that area
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on sponsorship landscape, culture and emerging technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Sports Management or Communications degree preferred)
5+ years of related marketing experience required (preferably in sports or music marketing)
Experience managing activation with Live Nation preferred
Experience with EHI brands preferred
Experience in sponsorship management, including negotiation required
Experience with music, including talent, agents and negotiation required
Ability to travel approximately 25% required
Intermediate level proficiency or above in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
