The Head of Sponsorship Sales will be charged with identifying and developing revenue-generating opportunities for the company though corporate sponsorship relationships.
Position Responsibilities
Create, define, implement and execute sponsorship objectives
Responsible for development of current and new sponsorship prospects to build and manage a sustained pipeline of opportunities
Manage the creation of materials to support the sponsorship initiative, including but not limited to marketing activation presentations, event recaps and materials to be distributed to the internal and external client.
Focus on developing and maintaining strong relationships with important decision makers at client marketing companies and their respective advertising agencies in a variety of business categories
Support sponsorship tactical implementation at all events where staff is needed. Specific services could include general activations and on site coordination, facility tours, talent interactions and client/property relationship management.
Review and analyze sponsorship opportunities and proposals
Manage and develop agencies/internal staff, deliverables, timelines and budgets
Maintain and grow relationships with key partners
Coordinate and executive the development, delivery and presentation of proposals.
Understand the marketing objectives of clients and their agencies, and determining how IMG Performance and WME | IMG can help them achieve their goals
Works closely with Branded Content Marketing, Research and Creative Services team(s) to ensure that appropriate information is incorporated into sponsorship packages to showcase the value proposition of IMG Performance and WME | IMG to clients.
Direct and partner with colleagues with the prospecting process and preparation of sales presentations and pitch materials.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes

Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
8+ years of sales/account management and relationship development experience in the media/marketing/sponsorship arena
Strong working knowledge of national/global sponsorships and brand activation
Deep working knowledge of the sales process and strong general sales acumen, as well as superior relationship development and account management skills
Knowledge of sports league and property partners
Self-motivated, resourceful individual with strong knowledge of digital, mobile and social media spaces
Ability to travel
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
