Mastercard is looking for a highly creative, passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to provide creative thinking, foresight, and strategic project management of Mastercard Labs’ Innovation Showcases globally. You will play a key, highly-visible role in telling Mastercard’s innovation story, by ensuring each Showcase is strategic, operational, and constantly being refreshed with new experiences. Leading this initiative globally, you must be able to communicate and collaborate with senior executives, customers, local business leads, cross-functional partners, agencies, and more.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include constantly strategizing the future of Showcases, in both the short and long-term. You’ll help build a strategic plan and iterate to ensure the Showcases are best-in-class experiences. Daily, you’ll to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by setting up processes to drive impact. You will partner with communications, events, and product teams to ensure a consistent narrative, prioritize product demos and maintain technical requirements to deliver an optimal Showcase experience to customers and internal stakeholders.

    Role

  • Lead Showcases globally, serving as the primary contact for product owners, regional showcase managers, and internal/external requests for Showcase marketing content
  • Serve as an experiential marketing leader—provide competitive insights, trends, new ideas, and recommendations to constantly raise the bar for the Showcases and the larger Mastercard Labs team
  • Collaborate with peers across Mastercard Labs to leverage Showcases for key initiatives, startup engagement and other innovation programs
  • Manage agency relationship to develop and monitor an ongoing processes for build and maintenance of Showcases
  • Coordinate Showcase demos to ensure that product information is updated with new experiences and technical requirements in partnership with product owners and technology vendors
  • Develop and execute client engagement model: set up training on demos and processes to provide seamless Showcase experiences globally
  • Develop and analyze metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness of Showcases to meet business objectives
  • Create and coordinate an internal Showcase communications plan to drive engagement within Mastercard. Be an ambassador for Mastercard Labs to the larger organization.
  • Manage Showcase communication of updates and enhancements to the Mastercard Labs leadership team


    Required Skills

  • Extensive marketing strategy experience, project management, problem solving and planning skills with a demonstrated record of success managing multiple projects with external and internal clients simultaneously, is required
  • Extensive background in organizing, structuring and motivating nimble teams in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Strong executive presence, interpersonal skills, independence, internal drive and ability to proactively identify opportunities before others and develop strategies to take advantage of these opportunities
  • Demonstrated experience in a broad range of disciplines, ideally including content management systems/technologies, marketing, conferences/trade shows, digital payments, convergence trends/technologies in the payments business, strategy, innovation programs, relationship management, emerging technologies
  • Demonstrates strong self-awareness, open to different approaches and ideas and open to challenging status quo to drive new business results
  • MBA or other advanced degree in strategy, marketing, communications, innovation, entrepreneurship or other related field a plus
