Manager, Global Brand Marketing – Music: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family In partnership with the Sr. Director of Global Brand Marketing, the Manager, Brand Marketing – Music will lead Vans’ global initiatives and strategy in music and entertainment. Responsible for driving the development, implementation and measurement of global music marketing strategies and tactics, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work with high-profile artists, musicians and managers, while acting as an internal thought leader and resource to counterparts in the region as well as global creative and product. This is a highly visible growth opportunity to build on Vans’ established foundation and roots in music.


How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Design and implement short and long-term global marketing strategies based on music industry knowledge, consumer insights and understanding of Vans business drivers.
  • Develop global music initiatives and programs that are regionally relevant and integrated across PR, digital, experiential and social.
  • Foster global industry relations with artists, labels, agents and managers. Leverage network to identify opportunities and maximize brand partnerships.
  • Act as an internal thought leader and resource to marketing, creative and product teams. Educate the organization on emerging artists, industry trends and opportunities to integrate music throughout the brand.
  • Build relationships with regional marketing teams and consultants, maintaining communication to ensure global consistency.
  • Partner with global creative and marketing to develop branded music content.
  • Track, analyze and report on seasonal programs and partnerships.


    Required Skills

  • 4-6 years of experience in music marketing, ideally within a consumer brand
  • Deep understanding of and contacts within the global music industry
  • Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills
  • Naturally collaborative, with the ability to grow and leverage relationships at all levels
  • Ability to manage high-profile projects and maintain a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for Vans creative culture and music
