EVERFI is looking for a seasoned Account Executive who will work closely with the President of EVERFI’s Sports & Entertainment Group to drive partnership and revenue growth within EVERFI's fastest growing business segment. This individual will directly contribute to the growth by driving relationships with numerous sports and entertainment entities including sports leagues, teams, other athletic and entertainment organizations, as well as coaches, athletes and entertainers.


The ideal candidate is a seasoned, dynamic, and high-performing salesperson with 3+ years of experience selling directly into or creating partnerships within the Sports & Entertainment sectors. This individual also has a very well developed and actionable network ready to be tapped and a history of exceeding sales quotas. They are also capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of outbound prospecting and high activity metrics. They are adept at navigating through complex organizations and selling to multiple decision makers at an executive level.


Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Be a critical driver of revenue growth through the development of new partnerships that expand EverFi’s education impact within the sports and entertainment sectors
  • Leverage deep experience in these fields combined with a highly creative and consultative sales approach to cultivate numerous long-term partnerships
  • Develop and execute an ambitious activity and outreach plan that is capable of delivering a significant annual revenue quota
  • Research, identify, and tenaciously generate new opportunities through outbound calls, emails, meetings & engagement with your well-developed network
  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales funnel;
  • Build and maintain pipeline to reflect appropriate quota coverage, with detailed notes in SFDC
  • Comfortably sell to VP & C-Suite executives, navigating through multiple decision makers in large complex organizations and entities
  • Consistently deliver on your quarterly and annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years in direct sales or business development roles
  • Proactive, self-motivated problem solver with a strong work ethic, high energy level and extremely well developed interpersonal and written abilities
  • Experience in the sports industry, whether agency, team or league, is essential to success in this role
  • Trained in consultative / value based selling
  • Ability to forecast accurately and transparently
  • Excellent closing skills and strong customer focus
  • Maintain professional and proactive communication with management regarding activities, prospect needs, and other business opportunities
  • Technically savvy and specifically skilled in SFDC
  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
