This position 1) leads and directs the global strategy of Influencer marketing to maximize Earned Media Value (EMV) of our strong brands, products, Talent/Brand Ambassadors, and to enhance the execution of Influencer marketing around the world. 2) This role is also responsible for global Revlon Consumer and Influencer Events and 3) philanthropy. Helps to identify and maintain Brand Ambassadors and Expert Influencers to support brand goals, and increase EMV.


(EMV is a metric that quantifies the estimated value of publicity gained through digital earned media and its respective engagement levels. EMV serves as a tool for bench-marking across marketing activities and across brands.)

    Major Duties:


    Driving and executing superior earned media value

  • Developing and managing execution of clear and measurable blockbuster Influencer plans


    Implement best measurement to ensure we are highly competitive

  • Owning timelines and communication plans for all influencer and consumer event efforts including product launches, sponsorships, tie-ins, talent announcements (Brand Ambassadors, Directors, etc).
  • Forging and maintaining relationships with key editors and beauty influencers and press to improve product coverage and set brands up as go-to products with consumers
  • Lead cross functional relationships with brand, product development and other key departments within company to identify critical product differentiation for storytelling on both regular business and new products


    Flawless execution of influencer and consumer events

  • Driving timelines and communication plans for all efforts including launch products, sponsorships, tie-ins, talent announcements, etc.
  • Accountable for ensuring key stakeholders are informed, updated and supportive of direction and plans.


    Talent management

  • Assist in identifying and managing Global Brand Ambassadors.
  • Drive coverage of the company’s Brand Ambassadors, linking them to our brands at every opportunity to further extend our brands and products: press junkets, movie premieres, parties, interviews, etc.
  • Help to ensure talent “goes to the mat” for our brands when possible
  • Generate editorial opportunities to increase global coverage and affiliation with our brands through Q&A’s with the Brand Ambassadors, seasonal shade stories, etc.
  • Leverage time with talent to further expand overall relationships and build goodwill towards our brands.


    Amplifying Revlon’s philanthropic efforts

  • Drive and increase awareness of Revlon as an industry leader, key contributor, and advocate for women
  • Accountable for the strategy and flawless execution of key Revlon philanthropic efforts through superior cross-functional collaboration, proactive communication, and adherence to agreed timelines


    Public Relations processes

  • Maintain a global Influencer process that will eliminate redundancy of efforts for leading edge management of product launches, interviews,
  • Q&A development for the Brand Ambassadors, etc..
  • Drive consistency of brand messaging to beauty press around the world.
  • Manage multiple budgets.


    Cross functional communication

  • Be an active partner to outside agencies including PR, social and advertising agencies
  • Accountable for ensuring key stakeholders on internal cross functional teams are updated on ongoing PR activities/plans


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in PR, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 8+ years experience
  • A proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Flawless execution
  • Proven track record of success
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Media training a plus.
  • Expertise in dealing with the press and influencers
  • Collaborative influencing and leadership skills as evidenced by the ability to motivate and build consensus and partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both orally and written.
  • Dynamic, able to move quickly with program implementation and maintain focus amid change.
  • Consultative approach to planning and problem solving.
