Position Description
Manage and promote all corporate sponsorships and special events for PHI, An Exelon Company. Evaluate, plan and implement PHI’s sponsorships and special event activities in the company’s market area to ensure maximum visibility and impact. Work with senior management, community representatives and sponsorship partners to meet objectives and produce results that support business and diversity goals.
Note: Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24x7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications and minimum of 5-8 years experience in sponsorship marketing, event planning and results measurement OR in lieu of a Bachelors degree, 9-12 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust and work effectively with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and also to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively monitor a budget of several million dollars.
Proficiency with PC applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and desktop publishing.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
