One of Live Nation joint ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic employee in the sports marketing department that can develop client brands and create opportunities for media, digital engagement and partnerships. The position is based in New York City corporate headquarters. The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, passionate, innovative, high-energy, self-starter that can quickly learn and grow in their marketing career.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a roster of clients and manage the marketing elements of their brand
Create programs that will lead to digital and PR opportunities
Help to tell the story of clients in their local market
Maintain an overall calendar of client activities
Serve as project manager on cross departmental initiatives
Identify brand-building opportunities
Develop and execute marketing programs to strengthen client brands
Collaborate on monthly reports to show growth and brand development
Collaborate with team and league to enhance marketing opportunities
Maintain brand strategy throughout all marketing, community, digital, PR and partner opportunities
Execute programs to showcase client in a superior way
Leverage consumer research and lifestyle trends to achieve overarching strategies
Work with in-house resources and external partners to manage integrated campaigns including media, digital/social touch points, creative deliverables, and more to ensure the success of athlete initiatives and company events
Collaborate with all departments to ensure the best service for our clients
1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, promotions and brand development
Bachelor’s degree required
Understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Understanding of the media, entertainment, sports and music landscape
Creative thinking and ability to generate out-of-the-box ideas/concepts
Project Management - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of energy and commitment
Strong written and oral communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and effectively
A clear understanding of the importance of client service is required
Must be able to work with under tight deadlines to develop and execute sponsorship elements
Thrive in a team environment with goal-oriented culture
Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Keynote.
