An exciting position for anyone passionate about the sports and entertainment space! The position of Manager, Sponsorships & Partnerships will be responsible for all aspects of the partner and sponsor portfolio (outside of athletes), from building a strategy and showing return to the business, to maximizing current relationships and developing new ones laddering back to the passion points of our changing consumer base, and planning and executing the activations to support our goals. This role is expected to travel 15%.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Articulate a long-term partnership and sponsorship strategy (outside of athletes) and approach, an efficient but effective activation framework and a model to measure success.
  • Maximize existing sponsorship and partnership relationships to show value to the ASICS & ASICS Tiger businesses, and across the ecosystem. The main current partner this role will support is Live Nation.
  • Develop new high value partner relationships to support specific business needs
  • Evaluate current and potential revenue-generating partnership opportunities to analyze, forecast, and increase profitability and incremental revenue
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships and communication flow with both internal and external partners, maintain partner and project timelines, and create pre/post-program ROI evaluations
  • Use customer research and data to develop insight-driven marketing strategies and programs that solve customer needs and wants.
  • Manage internal and external creative, research and media agencies in the development of marketing and promotional plans tied specifically to sponsored activations. Ensure the ASICS brands are brought to life meaningfully and consistently in all executions.
  • Work and support on other projects if needed.
  • Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

  • Knowledge of and experience at building brands to growth
  • Strong aptitude in the sports marketing & entertainment landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, motivations and insights to drive solutions

  • Strategic and results-oriented, with a solid understanding and appreciation of insight-driven communications and analytics
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management.

  • Experience converting strategic plans and ideas to tactical plans for execution
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time to meet tight deadlines

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of proven experience working with a partner / sponsor portfolio or brand marketing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing
  • Experience working with legal agreements and partner contracts
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
  • Google Applications such as Gmail, Google Hangouts, etc. a plus
