Ripple is looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team. You will be in charge of shaping, planning and executing some of Ripple’s highest profile events globally. This includes leading a robust speaking program that places Ripple spokespeople on stage at several hundred events each year, as well as managing the event strategy and presence for trade shows and conferences.


An ideal candidate is a marketer with a deep passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience through events. You have experience working with executives to place and brief them for high-impact speaking engagements. In addition, you have demonstrated success at using sponsorships and conferences to achieve business goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own Ripple’s global event strategy and presence for a robust speaker program and conference/trade show activations
  • Evaluate new event opportunities for exhibiting, sponsorship and/or speaking
  • Establish goals and author event/speaker briefings designed to meet those objectives
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns for each event
  • Drive our pre and post event contact strategy in partnership with the sales team to advance leads through the sales funnel
  • Coordinate associated event logistics to maximize Ripple’s brand presence, client experience and event goals Interact directly with Ripple’s leaders, top tier customers and industry influencers
  • Establish excellent working relationships with key partners in Marketing, Design, Product, Sales, Business Development and
  • Customer Success and external agencies
  • Measure and track ROI with consistent reporting to the management team


    Required Skills

  • 3+ years or relevant experience in B2B event marketing; must be able to demonstrate a groundbreaking approach to the events you’ve produced
  • A strong event portfolio illustrating a wide range of events
  • Proven success at working with executives to prepare them for speaking engagements
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication with a special knack for creating campaign and speaker briefs
  • Deep understanding (and passion!) for the inner workings of corporate events
  • Goal-oriented, creative and thrive under pressure
  • Serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Proactive, energetic and relentless in the pursuit of moving the needle
  • Excellent at collaborating with many contributors

  • Enterprise technology and/or financial services industry experience strongly preferred
  • Some travel is required
