The Sr. Manager of Partnerships is a newly created position responsible for leading the account management and activation of highly visible strategic partnerships within marketing. This person will engage with some of the most admired and influential companies to deliver value for our customers, enterprise and partners. They will work closely with Marketing Business Development, T-Mobile Tuesdays as well as cross functionally.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the management and activation of all strategic partnerships post contract and throughout the partnership program/term.
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including resolving business issues and serving as an internal advocate.
  • Work cross functionally with product, business development, consumer engagement, social, advertising, legal and PR.
  • Represent T-Mobile in external meetings with executives from other companies.
  • Proactively seek new and win-win solutions for both T-Mobile and partners, to create win-win collaborations and incremental value for both.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of external partners’ business and marketing goals, strategic initiatives, and current issues relevant to their business and industry.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic discussions with external partners on the value drivers as it relates enhancing the relationships between T-Mobile and the partners
  • Ensure smooth execution of activation plans and deliver on commitments to drive value for our partners.
  • Develop tools, processes and reporting to further standardize and improve the operation and effectiveness of the team, and/or increase the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization.
  • Cultivate strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and partners.


    Required Skills

    Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in corporate alliances or strategic partnership management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on and very agile environment.
  • Proven success in developing and managing strong marketing partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: a direct communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Agile; thrives in fast-paced and constantly shifting environment.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent project management skills.Minimum Required

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage highly complex partnership challenges/issues. Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
