We’re looking for a VP of Sports and Events to lead and grow our business in stadiums and venues. Today, CLEAR works with 9 professional sports teams around the country to create simple, fast, and secure fan experiences - from gate access to buying a beer. CLEAR Sports is a quickly growing, exciting team to be a part of - we’re looking for a strong leader to to make CLEAR as ubiquitous in stadiums as we are in airports.
What You Will Do:
Lead the growth and development of our sports and events business and manage associated departmental heads and their staff
Continuously improve how we sell to, contract with, and serve sports teams and event organizers
Use customer centricity as a guiding principle both internally and externally, including product development and new business opportunities
Build and lead a book of business in sports and events as director, mentor, role model, partner, and owner
Lead cross-functional collaboration to develop sports and events within our corporate development org
You have 3+ years of direct sales experience, during which you’ve demonstrated inarguable intelligence, productivity, and indefatigability
You have 3+ years of account management experience, during which you’ve demonstrated empathetic relationship development
Strong partner development experience across multiple reference accounts available for testimonials
Shining management performance of which former direct reports and supervisors will attest to
Professionalism and humility consistently demonstrable in all interactions
