Responsible for creation, development, management and execution of our sponsorships and geographic marketing efforts that support the Marketing Business Plan. Manage and oversight of experiential sponsorship planning, research and execution of business partnerships throughout the Associated Bank footprint.
The incumbent is required to possess a strong understanding of the business through sponsorship planning, development and execution of strategic marketing plans tied to sponsorships. In addition, the incumbent needs strong understanding of the industry and market , allowing them to quickly identify event and sponsorship opportunities within the marketplace which will support and benefit the Marketing Plan.
The incumbent is required to develop and maintain strong relationships within the targeted group of constituents, including business partners and internal business lines leaders, front line colleagues as well as key internal partners including Compliance, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Creative Services, digital and interactive marketing.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.
Regulation and Compliance
Manage the implementation, coordination and successful execution of marketing programs across all channels.
Execution includes, under the Sr Marketing Manager, the creation, launching and management of targeted events, experiences, and event marketing materials. Responsible for the management, coordination and monitoring of event and sponsorship budget tracking and post-event budget summaries.
Manage and coordinate communications with front line colleagues as well as internal partners to ensure successful execution by customer facing colleagues.
Management role in the development and creation of geographic and community events/sponsorships supporting all lines of business across all regions.
Managing role in the development and execution of product and market promotions for the supported lines of business across all regions.
Integration into assigned business unit operations, ensuring clear understanding of priorities and issues.
Responsible for the deepening of relationships with B2B and B2C prospects and clients by researching, recommending, coordinating and executing impactful, positive and memorable event experiences.
Provide access to all Corporate Marketing functions and expertise, including RATR, Creative Services, e-Commerce Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Create, develop, execute, and manage geographic marketing efforts and sponsorship activation across the Associated footprint working with all lines of business in the regional markets.
Effectively negotiate with outside partners and manage / track spending for all executed sponsorships / events within budgetary parameters.
Manage venue , sponsorship activation, and event logistics. Coordinate multiple business partners in order to achieve the most impactful outcome.
Work with each line of business to create, develop, and execute a robust geographic marketing plan.
Manage Experiential Marketing Specialist with the completion of Marketing Request Forms for events including print and electronic invitations, talking points, signage, press releases and other marketing materials.
Manage the Experiential Marketing Specialist to help execute against the details of each program
Work with each line of business to extend and enhance each sponsorship to drive activation with the B2C branch network and B2B venues as appropriate.
Negotiate, review and manage all business partner contracts, and key marketing materials working with the Compliance Department for review and approval.
Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications or related experience Required
Master's Degree Marketing, Communications or related field Preferred
4-7 years Broad based marketing experience within both B2C and B2B customers. With an emphasis on multichannel communication and activation efforts Required
