Vimeo is looking for an Events Associate to join our growing team. Reporting to the Manager of Creator Programs & Events, this is a hands-on role that will work on all aspects of Vimeo event activations, from evaluating sponsorships to helping to plan our activations at major conferences and trade shows. This role will work closely with the Production, Curation, Marketing and Design teams in the development and execution of required event assets, while also serving as the liaison between external event agencies and internal stakeholders as needed.


What You'll Do:


  • Contribute to the development and execution of integrated event campaigns that not only drive brand awareness, but implement additional marketing tactics, such as (but not limited to) offers, trials, e-mail, social and on-site efforts to promote Vimeo’s creator tool sets with key audiences
  • Research, planning and budgeting for Vimeo’s participation in 3rd party events including; trade shows; film festivals; industry events, etc
  • Help plan and support Vimeo specific events, including the screenings and meet-ups.
  • Coordinate the company’s presence at live events, conferences and tradeshows to maximize Vimeo’s brand presence (e.g., logo placement, branding, etc.)
  • Provide post-event recaps that provide insights into the impact on our business
  • Own vendor relationships and be involved with negotiations with potential partners
  • Collaborate efficiently across departments


    Required Skills

    Skills & Knowledge You Should Possess:


  • BA/BS degree required
  • 2+ yrs experience between brand marketing/advertising and/or Tradeshow/Event Planning
  • Experience with event planning process
  • Superior organization and project management skills
  • Creative, positive, and high-energy individual with an ability to execute flawlessly
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and manage multiple projects on different timelines
  • Experience handling multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently and within teams Bonus Points:
