The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the premier, global drone-racing league and producer of world-class sports content. We are seeking a Sponsorship Coordinator to support DRL’s growing list of global sponsorships and partners, including Allianz, Swatch, The U.S. Air Force and to help manage the Sponsorship team’s effort to identify, pitch and integrate other leading global brands. This role will report to the Sponsorship Sales Manager and will be an important part of our growing Sponsorship team. Working from our New York office, the role will demand analytical, organized and detailed work daily.


Core Responsibilities:


  • The Sponsorship coordinator will support the Sponsorship sales team with prospecting, pursuing and developing new sponsor accounts and categories, including:
  • Lead the creation of new strategic value propositions, marketing concepts, sales presentations and materials with the support of the Marketing & Creative teams
  • Analyze third party research to better position DRL to partners and sponsors
  • Monitor and share valuable market trend information to identify new opportunities
  • Track progress of the sales pipeline
  • Draft basic provision/sponsorship agreements for prospective clients
  • Interact regularly and build relationships with executives and key stakeholders across various departments
  • Support the Account Management team with onboarding new clients


    Required Skills

  • 1-3 years experience supporting a sales, marketing or sponsorship team
  • Highly organized with a track record of project management and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver with an ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong business judgment and oral/written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a sensitivity to confidentiality
  • Excellent Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and sales presentation development skills
  • Strong familiarity with Google enterprise products (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
