Capital One is looking for a Manager to lead the brand sponsorship strategy and planning efforts within the brand marketing team. This role will be responsible for developing the sponsorship strategy, experiential activation & cardholder “loyalty perks” programming across multiple lines of business, support annual marketing planning, budget development, agency support needs and ROI measurement and analysis.
This role will help define how business objectives can be met by a cohesive and integrated sponsorship and experiential marketing strategy. Successful candidates should have experience in business case development to gain support for new initiatives, as well as ability to establish measurements and metrics to determine program effectiveness. Candidates should have knowledge and experience leading and activating sports or entertainment (e.g., music) based sponsorships and working with external creative and activation agencies This role is suited for a strong, multi-discipline marketing individual ideally with experience building out marketing strategies and go-to-market planning.
Ensure all activities are tied to an integrated marketing communications plan when applicable, partnering with external and internal creative and media agency colleagues, marketing/communications, Brand, Digital, PR, Social and other Marketing and Business functions.
Successful candidates will have experience leveraging social or digital marketing campaigns to amplify sponsorship activations. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
