The Manager – Event Marketing & Partnerships is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of ’47 at all Trade & Consumer events, as well as managing ‘47’s strategic partnerships.


Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, the Manager – Event Marketing & Partnerships will identify, and execute at, key Trade Shows and Consumer facing events that best support ’47’s business and brand objectives while developing and maintaining strategic partnerships in the sports and lifestyle space. The successful execution of all events and partnerships will be delivered on-brand, on-time, and on-budget. The Manager – Event Marketing & Partnerships will report directly to the VP Marketing.


  • Research and identify key Trade Shows and Consumer events annually that support brand direction
  • Develop and manage a calendar and budget that supports all identified shows and events
  • Manage all Trade Show and Event supplier/vendor relationships
  • Work closely with other Marketing Managers to insure key visuals and messages delivered at Trade Shows and Events are consistent and on-brand
  • Brief-in and manage the design and production of all Trade Show and Event brand footprints
  • Manage all storage and shipping related issues to Trade Shows and Events
  • Lead the development of all customer and consumer engagement activations at Trade Shows and Events
  • Assemble teams to manage the set-up, management, and tear-down for all Trade Shows and Events
  • Coordinate all Trade Show and Event related advertising and marketing materials
  • Source and purchase all promotional items required to distribute at Trade Shows and Events
  • Coordinate the collection, shipping, and merchandising of product to be displayed at all Trade Shows and Events
  • Working with a Coordinator – Event Marketing, manage registration, booth location and configuration, accreditation and all other elements of
  • Trade Shows and Events
  • Work closely with the PR Agency to amplify Trade Show and Event presence and key stories
  • Manage all aspects of Sales Meetings
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Upper Management to identify locations and agenda
  • Ensure key themes, goals, and objectives are delivered Manage Sales Meeting budget
  • Facilitate Sales Meeting Committee meetings and record all activity
  • Manage ’47 Cause Marketing relationships and activities
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Leagues, Teams, and Individuals that support ‘47’s brand positioning in the sports and lifestyle markets
  • Negotiate and execute partner agreements that insure ’47 is well represented


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 plus years in Trade/Event Marketing or the equivalent
  • Proven track record in Trade Show and/or Event Management
  • Strong writing and communication skills and grammatical proficiency
  • Excellent time management/project skills
  • Comfortable and confident in making effective decisions in a timely manner
  • Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
  • Ability to communicate results to team and management and to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • A self-starter able to work independently, leading and managing multiple projects
