INTERMIX is seeking a forward thinking, highly connected Director of PR, Partnerships & Events to drive brand awareness and excitement in a rapidly-evolving, omni-channel retail environment. This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and is a key thought leader within the Marketing organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a PR strategy to help tell our brand story beyond our four walls and create a network of INTERMIX enthusiasts and ambassadors across our physical and digital footprint
  • Develop and maintain an event strategy (both local/store-led and brand building/corporate-led) to meet quarterly revenue goals, create deep customer loyalty, and create brand-building buzz
  • Lead a three-person team overseeing PR, partnerships, events, and retail marketing, with responsibility for generating press impressions and traffic to stores
  • Lead partnership strategy to acquire new customers, drive traffic to stores, and keep INTERMIX top of mind for the fashion-conscious shopper
  • Innovate and iterate to come up with creative ways to drive traffic to our 38 stores, and increase our omni-channel presence and the number of omni-channel customers in our database

  • Required Skills

  • Minimum 8-10 years of public relations/event experience in the women’s fashion space, with e-commerce experience strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of and early adoption within the digital space, including social media, influencers, and emerging platforms
  • Deep connections and relationships with key media (including traditional publishing and new/social media), entertainment/talent managers, and fellow PR thought leaders
  • Proven ability to garner press impressions around major campaigns and brand moments
  • Impeccable written and verbal communications skills, with extremely strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to adapt and pivot in an incredibly fast-moving environment
  • High level of accountability, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and be involved not only in strategy but in execution as well
